Netxcell Limited strengthens its information security and quality delivery with appointment of Mr. Kishore PRP as Head – Quality and Information Systems
Hyderabad September 06, 2010: Netxcell Limited (www.netxcell.com), a leading telecom application provider, today announced an addition to its core team with the appointment of Mr. Kishore PRP as Head – Quality. Mr.Kishore brings with him strong experience in implementing and managing quality and security systems across sectors such as Telecom, Information Technology, Mobile VAS as well as Manufacturing industries.
Commenting on the appointment, Mr. Debasis Chatterji, CEO, Netxcell Limited said, "In continuation of our efforts on focusing on the network side of the operators business - quality and security play a very important part in client delivery. Kishore’s functional experience in Quality Management Systems and Information Security Management Systems in telecom and mobile VAS space will help Netxcell further strengthen its offering to clients”.
In the capacity of Head - Quality and Chief Information Security Officer at Netxcell, Mr. Kishore PRP will mainly be responsible for Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities, establish Information Security policy to develop and define Risk Assessment strategies that include organizing various disaster recovery drills as part of Business Continuity Management. As a Management Representative (MR), Mr. Kishore will also actively lead process development teams to convert the processes into maintainable policies and work instructions.
Mr. Kishore will work closely with Netxcell project managers, testers, developers to provide a comprehensive approach to security information needing protection within the organization to ensure a specific project is delivered with the highest possible level of Quality. He will also be responsible for the competence development of all management system standards internal audit and management review that will help in the continuous improvement of the organization.
Before Netxcell, Mr. Kishore PRP was working as Manager – Quality with IMI Mobile. During his professional journey, he had also worked with Speck Systems Limited, PKL Limited and Videocon International Group etc.
Mr. Kishore’s career spans over 19 years, with over thirteen years in Quality Management Systems (QMS), Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) and the rest in various manufacturing industries in QC domain. He is an MBA with Mechanical Engineering background and a certified Lead Auditor in QMS from Engineering Staff Collage of India.
Additionally, he is also a member of Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI) – Hyderabad Chapter and a Certified CIISA (Certified Internal Information Security Auditor) and trained in RART (Risk Assessment and Risk Treatment) & BCM (Business Continuity Management) by STQC (Department of IT, Ministry of Communication & IT, Govt. of India).
In the recent past, Netxcell has strengthened its core team by hiring industry experts from major national telecom companies wherein Mr. Kenny Cenecius, VP – Sales has taken the overall charge of sales and Mr. Sarvesh Asthana, Senior VP – Technology as the incharge for product development and R&D function.
